We strive to provide the best possible experience for all horses and riders in our care. We believe that the value of the equestrian sport extends beyond the technical skills learned while mounted. Through a combination of classic horsemanship and modern knowledge, we teach all owners and riders how best to care for their horses and create a bond that will extend to their mounted work.
We believe that everyone learns best from individualized attention, which is why we work with each individual rider to achieve their equestrian goals, whether that's working up the courage to canter for the first time, or finding success in the hunter or equitation show rings. We offer 30-min private lessons, 45-min semi-privates, and hour groups. Lessons can be purchased individually for $60, or at a discounted package rate of $330 for 6 lessons.
Please note, we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged in full.
Our boarders' horses enjoy 24/7 care with the owner living on site. Horses have roomy box stalls with banked shavings. We offer a variety of customizable turnout options, hay 4x per day and grain 2-3x per day. We are open from 7 am to 9 pm daily. Board starts at $900/month and goes up for training packages. Contact us for rates or to schedule a tour of the facilities.
We offer a variety of leasing opportunities including partial (1-2 days/week), half (3 days/week), and full lease options on most of our horses. All lease clients must commit to a minimum of one lesson per week. Contact us to discuss our lease options and availability!
IEA is a competitive team sport. Riders compete with either a high school or middle school age team, and accumulate points both individually and collectively, with the potential to progress to postseason competition: regionals, zones, and nationals. No rider needs to own a horse, and riders do not bring horses to competitions. They compete on horses provided by the host team, selected by random draw. This levels the playing field so with a little bit of luck, and a lot of skill, any rider can place well regardless of whether or not they’re in a financial situation to be able to compete on their own horse. All riders who are comfortable cantering on a variety of horses are welcome and must commit to one IEA practice and one lesson per week.
Showing & Other Outings
We take clients to a variety of both rated and schooling local shows, in addition to hunter paces and other outings for our current clients. Showing is open to any riders of any level either with your own horse or on one of our awesome school horses.
